Just a quick note to bring up a couple of points.

I tried to set up an image gallery that would have a link from the left column. I thought that would be the default behavior when I created it, but it's not. That's why the ephemerals link only goes to the Wake Robin photo. From there you have to click on the Spring wildflowers 01 link above to get to the actual gallery. Counterintuituve, I'd say. There could be something simple that I haven't set up properly that's causing this problem, but I can't seem to find it, and I've already spent too much time looking for it.

So I'll try a different and more versatile form of gallery. It should not only link from the main navigation menu and be available for all to see, but it should also allow registered users to upload images directly into a specific image gallery.

I'm also going to try setting up "taxonomy", which is to say tagging of items. This will be useful if you want to search for all the photos of a Trillium, for instance, or a Blue-gray gnatcatcher (shoudl we be lucky enough to get a good photo of one). Implementing that particulat itme will be a work in progress over the long haul, no doubt.

Also, as you visit this site, you'll probably be seeing different "looks". I'll set up several themes that we can switch between when we have a meeting about the site, or maybe I'll just allow registered users to switch them themselves, so you can go back and forth between them to see what you like best.
